CARVER – The second annual Fill it Up Carver food and donation drive again united the community around the cause of supporting the Shane Gives Thanks food pantry.
Organizers Maureen and Andy Cardarelli were recognized for their efforts by the Board of Selectmen Tuesday night.
The Cardarellis say they are thankful to everyone who donated, to the town and school officials who participated in the event, and to Shane McColgan and his mother Krystle for starting Shane Gives Thanks and opening the food pantry in Carver.
