Debra Kuchinski, owner of Brodhead Brew, 85 Crystal St., East Stroudsburg, wanted East Stroudsburg University students to have a solid start to the fall semester and so she and many of her patrons collected items to donate to the Warrior Food Pantry that operates in cooperation with St. Matthew’s Church, East Stroudsburg.
The Warrior Food Pantry is a collaborative program to support students registered at ESU who are in need of a food source during the academic year, to ensure that students are able to obtain necessary food and personal hygiene items for their well-being.
For information on how individuals and/or organizations may help the Warrior Food Pantry, contact Dr. Amy Freeman, ESU's director of Health and Wellness, at afreeman11@esu.edu. Some of the suggested donations needed are: snacks, beverages, paper goods, baking supplies, prepared meals, breakfast items, sauces, soup, fruit (canned or dried) hygiene and beauty products, pasta, rice, potatoes, canned proteins and cleaning supplies.
