Today (Dec. 15, 2016) Open Cupboard Food Pantry received this anonymous note from a client. It reminds us of why we do what we do and how important the community's generous support is to this work.
"I am a client of the Open Cupboard Food Pantry; if it were not for this wonderful program I would have to choose between eating and paying my bills, either way it would be a very difficult decision.
"I am frugal; in spite of this, I would come up short if it were not for your generosity to the Food Pantry. Thank you just does not describe how much your contributions mean to many of us.
"Please realize you are making a huge difference in the lives of many in our community.
"Signed, A Very Grateful Client"
