Amboy Food Pantry in North Little Rock open for those in need - KARK

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Flood victims aside, on any given day food pantries statewide stay busy.

In North Little Rock the Amboy Food Pantry collects and hands out food to those in need.

It's hard to tell if flood victims are finding their way to the pantry but the assistant director says on a normal day, they feed 30 to 40 families.

Last Thursday alone, they supplied 60 families with what they needed.

"So many people these days that are out of work or don't have the money you don't want nobody to go hungry, especially kids."

If you are a flood victim or are in need, the Amboy Food Pantry is open for people in North Little Rock and Maumelle.

You can stop by 9-12 Monday-Thursday. They are happy to help.
