JOHNSTOWN — Federal employees who are negatively affected by the government shutdown are welcome to take advantage of the services of the Council of Churches Food Pantry at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 1 N. Market St.
The pantry is open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m.
The federal workers must live in Fulton County and provide proof of residency and identification as a federal worker. Federal workers will be welcome at the pantry throughout the shutdown.
Besides federal employees, the food pantry welcomes residents of the 12095 area code and all veterans.
