Berea extends food pantry to government workers: Community Voices - cleveland.com

BEREA - Although the federal government recently reopened after a 35-day shutdown, furloughed and unpaid employees will need time to get back on track. The City of Berea wants to help.

Federal employees affected by the shutdown are invited to take advantage of the Berea Community Outreach Food Pantry. The food pantry will open its doors for the next four weeks to federal workers who live in Berea's Dinner to Your Door coverage area - Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights. The pantry is open 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays at Smith School, 535 Wyleswood Drive.

Donations to the pantry are welcome. To volunteer or to donate non-perishable food items, paper products or personal care items, please contact Berea Community Outreach at 440-826-4891 or bco@cityofberea.org.
