Organizers said they're excited to feed the community.
"We had a whole list of volunteers here this morning, so much excitement and just waiting for people to come through the doors," said Hope Care Center and Food Pantry Board President Julie Dostal. "We had people waiting at our doors when we opened and they were so grateful and thankful that we are another food pantry in the area that can help service their needs."
The food pantry is open to anyone in the community in need. All you need is a photo ID and proof that you live in Grand Forks or East Grand Forks. The pantry will be open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
