The Blue River Community Harvest Board of Directors regrets to announce the permanent closing of the BRCH, Inc. food pantry of Carthage. The food pantry, a 501C3 non-profit organization that regularly served over 300-400 families in the Rush/Henry county area over the last 10 years, is closing because several attempts to relocate were unsuccessful.
BRCH is profoundly grateful for the support provided by community businesses, churches, and individuals without whom the pantry could not have provided for so many people.
Letters have gone out to known clients of the pantry and contain a list of alternative food pantries in the area. Others may go to the Blue River Community Harvest Facebook and webpages to view the list. (http://ift.tt/2dm9MMB).
