Food needed for School of Harmony pantry - Beckley Register-Herald

The vendors collectively known as "A Gathering of Vendors by B&K" are collecting food now through Dec. 23 for the School of Harmony's food pantry.

The pantry feeds 60 to 100 hundred families a week, the release said. Participants receive a basket and an allotment of 12 items from a large selection of canned foods and other foods like butter, milk, eggs and cheese. The pantry serves the families each Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, during the winter months.

The food pantry is located at the School Of Harmony at 159 Granby Circle in Beaver.

Participants do not have to have proof of income; however, they do have to have a valid ID and answer a few questions.
