CARTHAGE — During its August meeting, the village Board of Trustees approved agreements for services with the Village Ecumenical Ministries Food Pantry in the amount of $1,000; Carthage Free Library for $6,000 and the Wilna-Champion Transportation Association for $6,000.
In addition, the board authorized $5,000 from the village loan fund be given to the Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce and entered into an agreement with the Basset-Baxter American Legion Auxiliary for $700 to support its program to send eligible veterans on the Honor Flight to visit Washington, D.C.
The board also signed its annual agreement with PIVOT Employee Assistance Services for a flat rate of $400.
