LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - God's Pantry Food Bank and the city of Lexington are preparing to help people affected by the widespread power outages affecting the area.
God's Pantry is offering fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and snacks to help people restock their refrigerators and freezers following these storms.
Here is a list of the three locations around Lexington where this food will be offered:
· Valley Park, 2077 Cambridge Drive
· Woodhill Community Center Parking Lot, 422 Cordell Drive
· Douglass Park, Oteria O’Rear Community Center, 726 Georgetown St.
At the Valley Park site, volunteers will work with God's Pantry. At Woodhill, the Lexington Leadership Foundation and neighborhood volunteers will work together. At Douglass Park, city park employees will be on hand.
If you would like to attend, the food will start being offered at 10 a.m. on Monday.
