On May 8, Chico State University Student Philanthropy Council donated $24,138 to the Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry. The council is part of Chico Cares and the money was donated to the Basic Needs Project, with a substantial amount of the funding going toward the food pantry. Taking part are, from left, Kennedy Valadez, Cal Fresh outreach intern; Kate Gregori, incoming president of Student Philanthropy Council; Mimi Baez, incoming vice-president of finance; and Spencer Malugani, Cal Fresh outreach intern. The Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry is in the Student Services Center, room 196, on campus.
