Generosity helped Auburn pantry make Christmas brighter - Auburn Citizen

Upon working at First Love Food Pantry at the end November, it was brought to my attention that due to lack of funding not everyone would be given a Christmas Basket to enjoy with their families. I began to think about how I could raise money to help people at their time of need. I announced on Facebook that I was seeking donations to provide food to all the families that seek help at this particular location for the holidays. I would like to thank the following people for their generous donations: Quinn Trucking, Andrea Janish (Upstate Paving), Shereen and Dave Androsko, Alicyn Salato and Floyd Kindrew ( In memory of Stella Kindrew), Toni Bianco, Alice Stoyell, Jodie Fedigan, Suzanne DeTomaso, Nancy Purdy, Lisa Jones, Sharon Blowers, Mary and Denny Quinn, Missy and Mike Brown, Christina Gray (Auburn Internal Medicine) and Nina Yantch. I was able to raise close to $1,000. It is so refreshing to see this community help out in others time of need. I would be remiss in not thanking Lorraine and Robert Canino as well. Your time and dedication is something to be admired!
