Commissioner Ryan Quarles and Kentucky Department of Agriculture staff delivered over 3,232 pounds of foods donated by KDA employees during a department-wide food drive in December.
The food drive was an extension of the Hunger Initiative that Commissioner Quarles launched in June to look for ways to reduce food insecurity in Kentucky.
