TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Heritage University held its 7th annual ‘Pantry of Hope’ campaign this weekend.
Students packed hundreds of food boxes with non-perishable items to help about 350 local families in need.
The families participated in a student-organized financial literacy program to qualify for help and learned how to create and live on a budget.
Other products including toiletries were also distributed, with deliveries made to Granger High School and Toppenish Middle School.
