BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Businesses in downtown Birmingham are showing their Christmas spirit with paintings on their windows.
David Hall is behind the paint. He said it's something he's been doing for 21 years. Although he doesn't get a profit from the paintings, he's doing it to help others.
He's collecting donations from people interested in the holiday paintings. Those donations are going toward a food pantry called The Grace Place.
"Every donation will be made for that and it will feed a lot of people. It was clothes a lot of people that really need it. It's really heartwarming," Hall said.
David says if you would like a painting done to help out Grace Place food pantry you can find him on Facebook at David Hall.
