VALPARAISO — The Grub Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Valplayso, 1400 Glendale Blvd.

Sponsored by Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the proceeds from the run and walk will go to the Christian Food Pantry. The pantry at 7 Chicago St., is open from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays and Wednesdays and offers groceries free to all in need. Donations can be taken to the pantry during those hours or to First Christian Church, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sundays.

Same day registration and sign-in begins at 8 a.m.

Early registration on or before Monday is $20 with no shirt or $25 with a shirt. late registration, after Monday, is $25 with no shirt.

Shirts will only be guaranteed to preregistered entries.
