The Second Harvest North Central Food Bank will distribute free food for anyone in need in its final Pop-Up Produce Pantry of the year.
The distribution event will take place 10 a.m.-1 p.m., or until food is gone, on Monday, Nov. 25. The new location for this month’s produce pantry is the Westgate Mall, 14136 Baxter Drive. Those who come are asked to bring boxes or bags to carry the food.
The Pop-Up Produce Pantry is a traveling food shelf that delivers food directly to families in need, a news release stated.
“It is our priority to increase access to fresh, healthy food in every community throughout north-central Minnesota,” organizers stated in the release.
Sponsors include the Otto Bremer Trust, Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Foundation and the Northland Foundation.
