Clove Run in Castleton to benefit local food pantry - Troy Record

CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Castleton Road Racing Commission and the Castleton Kiwanis are hosting the Ken Morgan Memorial Clove Run on Aug. 17.

There will be two races, a 5K walk/race, and a 10-mile challenging course. Both courses are USATF certified.

There will also be a 1-mile family fun run. Awards will be presented at the finish line, along with refreshments provided by local businesses.

Registration packets can be picked up that day starting at 7 a.m. at the Castleton Elementary School. Race times start at 8, 8:30 and 9 a.m.

For more information or to register online, please visit www.cloverun.com. Registration prices increase after Aug. 15.

All proceeds from The Clove Run benefit the local food pantry, the Anchor, which has been helping families in need since 1989. Last year, the donation to the Anchor exceeded $4,500.

If you are not interested in walking/running, the Castleton Kiwanis are always looking for volunteers to help out.

If you are interested in volunteering your time, please email castletonkiwanis@gmail.com.
