I would like to thank the Journal Tribune for its coverage of the effort to rase money to install solar panels on the roof of the Biddeford Food Pantry.
The food pantry is a cherished nonprofit organization in our community and a lifeline for so many people in need locally.
With so much negative news out there these days, I enjoyed picking up the newspaper and reading about something positive for a change.
I do believe everyone should explore supporting this initiative because ultimately the entire Biddeford community will benefit from it and the food pantry will be able to cut its energy costs by up to 40 percent overall.
Appreciate the newspaper telling this important story and hoping its message resonates among those willing to help fund the new solar panels.
