The Middle Georgia Food Bank and Warner Robins Transit sponsored a Mobile Food Pantry at the Warner Robins campus of Georgia Military College.

Nearly 100 people came out to pick up food. Warner Robins Transit went to pick up those who needed to get food.

Warner Robins Transit CEO Spring Rosati says the transportation helps them get food to those who weren’t able to get it any other way.

“People don’t know where to get food sometimes, we have a lot of seniors out here and need that extra food that needs to be in their cupboards, because they are on a budget. Transportation and having food in their cupboard go hand in hand,” Rosati said.

The goal is to have as many mobile food pantries as possible.

Rosati also says that there is an emergency food bank at the Warner Robins Transit Office for anyone who needs help.
