The Saints Peter and Paul Parish Food Pantry is celebrating its 28th year of service in 2019. The pantry provides services for families in the local area, including holiday celebration meals at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Also at Christmas time, the parish community fulfills ‘wish gifts’ from the individuals to ensure that everyone has a gift at Christmas. They meet twice monthly to shop at local markets, delis, bakeries and butchers to help almost 100 families. First row, from left, are Betty Tkach, Helen Lavinia, Josephine Kline, Mary Drew, and Jean Curtis. Second row: Marty Yanaitis, Barbara Shedlock, Ann Berecin, Sandy Toloczko, Barbara Salus, Stella Szymanski, Mattie Haczewski, Marie Fender, Linda Balutsavich, and Jo Ann Melman. Third row: Pauline Makowski, director; Joe Stec, and Theresa Mycko. Fourth row: Joe Haczewski, Joe Salus, Tom Salus, Frank Martin, Bob Shedlock, Irene Martin and the Rev. Jack Lambert.
