Trinity Episcopal Church installs Blessing Pantry - Monroe County Post

Trinity Episcopal Church, 3450 W. Ridge Road, Rochester, recently placed a Blessing Pantry near the North Avenue entrance to its main parking lot.
“A Blessing Pantry is designed to help people who are struggling,” said Laurie Phillips, senior warden at the church. “Open 24/7, the box contains nonperishable food items and hygiene items. The community can take what they need, drop off what they can.”
Anyone in the community can use the pantry or drop off items. The church requests that no glass or sharp objects be left in the pantry. Donors should avoid items that can freeze during the winter.
“We don’t want any to go hungry in our community and we know there are many who need help feeding their families,” said the Rev. Deborah Duguid-May, rector at Trinity.
