MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - A food pantry in Washington County needs your help, so that it can continue to make a difference.
The Gospel Mission Food Pantry is gearing up for its annual fundraiser. The spaghetti dinner fundraiser is set for Saturday, November 3rd from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Evergreen Community Center. It’s behind the Hadley Funeral Home’s Reno Chapel.
Officials at the pantry hope the fundraiser gives them a boost to stock the shelves ahead of the holiday season.
“I want to thank everyone from the community, people here that help here at the Gospel Mission Food Pantry to keep the food pantry going and that is doing the benefit. I mean what a blessed community we live in that wants to help everybody that God sends through the doors here.”
The pantry says it turns no one away.
