FLINT, MI-- Fresh produce rich in vitamins and minerals will be available for families to pick up from any of the mobile food pantry stops in September.
Families can expect squash, cabbage, sweet corn, onions, carrots, green beans, potatoes, bell peppers and eggplants among the fresh produce available to them.
The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan in Flint and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services have announced the upcoming schedule for the mobile food pantry, listed below.
- Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. - Asbury United Methodist Church, 1653 Davison Road.
- Thursday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. - Greater Holy Temple, 6702 N. Dort Hwy.
- Monday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. - Bethel United Methodist Church, 1309 Ballenger Hwy.
- Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. - Asbury United Methodist Church, 1653 Davison Road.
- Thursday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. - Greater Holy Temple, 6702 N. Dort Hwy.
- Monday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. - Bethel United Methodist Church, 1309 Ballenger Hwy.
- Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. - Asbury United Methodist Church, 1653 Davison Road.
- Thursday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. - Greater Holy Temple, 6702 N. Dort Hwy.

Residents are also welcomed to pick up free produce at any of the three Flint Help Center locations listed below.
Food distribution sites remain open while supplies last.
