NAUGATUCK — The Connecticut Food Bank Mobile Pantry is coming to Naugatuck.
The pantry, which focuses on giving out fresh produce, is available to the public free of charge. Information on local resources will also available at the pantry.
The pantry will be at the Naugatuck Event Center, 6 Rubber Ave., the second Thursday of every month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The first night of the pantry is May 10. People are asked to bring their own bags.
The pantry is hosted by Naugatuck Partnership for Children, Connecticut Food Bank, the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls, and the Ion Bank Foundation. For more information, call Jill or Lisa at 203-729-1564.
