The Kimberly Family Foundation presented a check for $3,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank on Thursday, March 29, to sponsor a Mobile Food Pantry, which will take place at Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro. The Foundation also announced other recipients of charitable giving in the coming year, including Endure Athletics and the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. A Mobile Food Pantry, operated by Second Harvest Food Bank, is a one-day, large-scale food distribution event that provides enough food for 250 families to each receive one to two weeks’ worth of groceries.
