The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri's mobile food pantry has moved.
The mobile pantry will now set up on the parking lot of the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services, 1005 W. Worley St., from 4 to 6 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month, starting today, the organization said in a news release. The pantry is a refrigerated box truck that distributes fresh produce, protein and dairy items. The mobile pantry had previously made monthly stops at Indian Hills Park, but the new location is more centralized, The Food Bank said, and more convenient for many people who rely on the organization.
The pantry makes 14 stops a month in The Food Bank's 32-county service area.
