HHS Class of 1967 donates to school's clothing, food pantry - Huntington Herald Dispatch

The Herald-Dispatch

HUNTINGTON - The Huntington High School Class of 1967 donated $2,200 to Cliff's Closet at Huntington High School as part of its 50-year reunion activities.

Cliff's Closet is a food and clothing pantry that supports students at Huntington High and strives to meet needs for many of the students. The

donation will be used to purchase food and clothing for the pantry.

Part of the money for the donation came from a silent auction for a quilt made by one of the alumni, Tanga Meredith Dotson.

The winner of the auction donated the quilt to Patricia Harrison, a former Spanish teacher at Huntington High and the mother of Class of 1967 grad Karry Harrison.

For more information about Cliff's Closet or to make a donation, contact Jamie McElroy at 304-528-6400.
