The St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at St. Thomas More University Parish in Bowling Green was blessed with a veritable bounty of food on Monday as staff from AK Tube LLC, of Walbridge, a division of AK Steel, delivered more than 3,100 pounds of canned and other nonperishable items to stock the pantry for the holidays.
“We conducted a food drive to help the pantry,” said Caroline Metzker, who chaired the committee that organized the effort at the Walbridge facility.
