STEINHATCHEE, Fla. - The community surrounding the Sowers of the Seed food panty have come together to help after it was destroyed by Hurricane Hermine.
Volunteers have pulled together to transfer salvageable food and nonperishable items to the Fellowship Baptist Church.
The food panty said it will be distributing food this week to those who still need the help.
Sowers of the Seed said it has setup the Steinhatchee Area Coastal Relief Fund to serve the needs of the community, beginning with the restoration of the food pantry.
Donations to the relief fund can be sent to P.O. Box 172 Steinhatchee, FL 32359.
