Camanche prepares to 'pack the pantry' - Clinton Herald
CAMANCHE — Pack the Pantry is back in Camanche for its 15th year.
The Pack the Pantry Poker Run is set to begin at 1 p.m. Nov. 3. The poker run will begin at Imperial Lanes. Individuals can choose the transportation option of their choice, a car, motorcycle or bicycle. Community members may sign up at Imperial Lanes, Hide Inn, Poor House or Jersey's. A $5 donation and two non-perishable items are requested for participation in the event.
There will be 50/50 drawings and door prizes at each bar. Participants are asked to bring a snack to share to the bar where they sign up.
Cash donations can be made at Clinton National Bank, 817 Ninth Ave., Camanche. Food donations can be made at any of the four bars involved in the poker run.
