Hemet Community Pantry recently received over 1,000 pounds of food and a $10,000 check from McCrometer, a local company, and its employees.
A news release says employees exceeded the goal of the McCrometer Can Make A Difference campaign, which was was to collect 600 pounds for the food pantry in a month.
To reward staff members’ efforts, the company is inviting them to dunk the company’s president, Steve Bell, in October.
