BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP (WJRT) - (05/27/17) - This is the third year Abele Greenhouse has hosted a fundraiser to support our veterans.
"I support the 1%" food pantry is housed at Harry Browne Airport in Buena Vista Township.
They put food on struggling veterans' tables and don't turn anyone away.
The pantry is thrilled the greenhouse generously helps them on this important holiday weekend which honors veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
"They are the reason we have freedom in this country. They sacrifice so much for us no matter how many years they've served. They take time away from family and friends like on Memorial Day, those that have paid ultimate price and lost their lives. We owe them a lot," said Judy Adams with the food pantry.
Adams hopes this weekend's event will help get the word out to all veterans in the area.
