Donations help pantry's efforts - Omaha World-Herald

Restocking the Bellevue Food Pantry shelves got a big boost last week.

The pantry received sizeable donations Twin Ridge and Bellevue elementary schools, as well as Bryan High School. Those contributions were in addition to those from Thanksgiving Lutheran Church and other donations.

The pantry can still use a number of specific items, including canned mixed vegetables, canned pasta, rice, tuna, chili, pork & beans, canned meats, tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, beans (pinto, black, kidney, etc.), cake mixes, bar soap and toothpaste.

The pantry is located behind Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 Galvin Road N.

The Bellevue Food Pantry also accepts cash donations for perishable food vouchers. Send checks to Bellevue Food Pantry, 1908 Hancock St., Bellevue, NE 68005.
